Privacy notice
The short version: I only collect what I need to help you, I don't sell it, and I don't track you around the internet.
Draft: review this notice before the site goes live.
Who I am
Sussex Tech Rescue is run by Ryan in Eastbourne, East Sussex. You can contact me about your data at hello@example.com or on 07734 779429.
What I collect
When you fill in my form, I collect your name, phone number, email (if given), postcode, town and the details you share about your problem. I use this only to reply to you and arrange help.
Form messages are processed by my website host, Netlify, and delivered to me by email.
When I visit or connect remotely
I only access your devices and files with your permission and only as far as needed to fix the problem. I don't copy or keep your personal files unless you ask me to, for example when moving data to a new computer.
Cookies
This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies, so there's no cookie banner. If I add analytics in future, I'll update this notice.
The map on my Areas page is loaded from OpenStreetMap. Like any website you visit, their servers see your IP address when the map tiles load, but they set no cookies.
How long I keep it
I keep enquiry and job details for as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal and accounting requirements, then delete them.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information I hold about you at any time. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
